Tonight we went to see Tortured Soul at the Wicker Park Festival. They have a strange name, but the band was GREAT.

i jumped right in

Its been so hot here, I'm sweating all the time! I jumped in the pool today without my swimsuit or swimdiaper. I was a soggy, wet, and HEAVY mess when I got out.

Its a cloudy day today, but that didn't stop me from having breakfast on the porch.

Margot and I did some serious chewing on plastic toys this afternoon. We were both tired and hot because this morning we had to dress up and get our 9 month old portraits taken.

Today I discovered that I can eat dog food. Mom is very upset.

I'm on the move these days. I love to crawl all over the whole house. I always eventually end up at the same place though! (here's where I end up)

swimming at the pool

I went to the Western Springs Pool today and went down the water slide with Mom and Dad. I loved it at first. Then slowly I began to like it less and less. It takes some getting used to!

Its early and I'm tired. Why do I insist on waking up at 6am each day?

dancing with Boogie

I did some hip hop dancing with Boogie at the Chicago Folk & Roots Festival today. It was fun!

Mom and Dad put up this gate to keep me from the dog's water dish. I'm so sad. Playing in the dog's water was my favorite activity.

i love cats

Today we went to lunch at Keli's. I LOVE her cat. You can see him walking away from me on the left side of the picture. The cat didn't really like me much, especially when I grabbed his ears and tried to stick my fingers in his eyes.
