We went out for dinner for my birthday. I was allowed to eat a whole fry at once, but only because it was my birthday. Tomorrow will be different!

chex mix

I went to hear Ralph's World play today. I spent most of the time thoroughly searching the picnic blanket for every last piece of chex mix so that I could put it all in my mouth. Sometimes I got a little grass in there too. Dad kept putting his finger in my mouth to see what was in there.

neighbors

Today I played a cafe game with my neighbors, even though most of them are older than I am. I'm getting so old, Mom and Dad can't believe it. I'm turning into a REAL kid.

bangs

I got my bangs cut today. I can see better now.

apple picking

We went apple picking today. I don't really like the taste of apples, but I liked crawling under the apple trees and touching the rotten mushy apples.

Once I had a bottle things improved. I really like facing forward!

Today was a BIG day for me. Because I am 11 months old, my pediatrician said that Mom and Dad could turn my carseat around, so now I'm facing forward. Mom and Dad assumed I would be as excited as they are about all of this, but things scare me VERY easily, and I cried instead.

ice cream

Today I tried ice cream for the first time. It was cold!

5K

This morning Mom and Dad took me on a 5K run. At the beginning of the run I got scared and cried. At the end I showed Mom how bored I was by throwing my bottle out of the stroller over and over again.

Kaelyn's First Birthday

Today we went to Kaelyn's Birthday playgroup. Kaelyn got the wear the special first birthday hat. Only a few more weeks until it will be my turn to wear it!

This morning Margot came over for breakfast. We both ate on the porch. I'm used to Joetta, but Margot isn't, and she was VERY interested in whatever Joetta was doing.

Wet

I helped Mom with the gardening today. The hose went a little crazy and she got me wet by mistake.

Sunday

in the trunk

I had a diaper emergency on Saturday when we were out shopping. I had to be changed immediately! Mom and Dad changed me in the trunk of the car.

On Saturday we went to Harvester Park. They have a great playground with lots of bridges for me to crawl over. I need to be watched closely because I have no fear of heights and will dive down a slide or any opening without a thought. I got so much excercise I fell asleep on the way home.
