more surgery

For the surgery I had to be put under general anesthesia and have an IV. I also had to wear this purple hospital gown and these small yellow socks. Although I was VERY mad when I woke up from the anesthesia, the surgery itself went very well and I'm doing fine.

Today I had my very first surgery! I had a little gland in my mouth that had to be removed. The nurses were extra nice and gentle with me. They all assumed I was a girl, even though my chart clearly said "M" for male.

I studied my red block while Mom did yard work today.

This is a picture I got taken last month in New Jersey. Mom thought it would be fun to get my picture taken with Cousin Lily at JCPenny. Everyone was very excited with the results.

my hat

Its been hot here lately, but Mom still likes to put this hat on me. I find it annoying and like to pull it off, but but Mom finds the hat so amusing that it almost always ends up back on my head. I've been drinking a lot of bottles lately, instead eating solid food. The only foods that I will dependably eat are pizza and tofu. I am picky about anything else (like vegetables), and like to throw food on the floor that I don't like, or push it away. Mom and Dad find all of this VERY cute.

Today Margot and I got new shoes (Mom is sorry about the blurry picture). These are my very first pair of real, wearable shoes. There were 25 girls styles and 2 boys styles. This was VERY frusterating for Mom. I could get robots or trucks. We went with the robots.

Nathan has the coolest playroom. Today we played and played.

It was a little cool out, so Mom wrapped me in a towel.

Cypress Cove

Today I went on the lazy river at Cypress Cove with my baby friends Owen and Charlie. It was so much fun!

Today Dad and I played peekaboo during dinner.

Today we went to Panes Bread Cafe in Chicago for lunch. By the time we got there, I was really thirsty.

I like to make myself useful while mom cleans the dishes.

new bike

My neighbor gave me this very cool Radio Flyer tricycle. I'm too short for it right now, but I'm having a great time sitting on it and pretending to ride.

rain

It rained hard today, so we stayed inside a lot.

no nap

I didn't take my afternoon nap AGAIN today. I am exhausted. I also insist on carrying dirty laundry everywhere with me. I scream if Mom tries to take it away.

bed

This is Dad putting me to bed. Even though its 8:30pm and I usually go to bed at 7pm, I am still not tired. Mom and Dad are baffled.

Here I am in my Hawaiian shirt at my friend Nathan's Hawaii barbeque. Nathan had the best playroom! I spent a lot of time there.

It was so nice to stay home and play with my toys today. Sometimes I need a rest.
